I work with teens, college students, and adults of all ages — including women navigating mid-life transitions — to build a more compassionate relationship with themselves and their emotions.

What can I expect in our first session?

The first session is focused on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to change or better understand. We’ll discuss your history, current stressors, and goals, and begin developing a plan together. Yes. My practice is fully virtual, which means you can access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home. I am based in Ohio and, through PSYPACT, can provide telehealth services to clients in most U.S. states. Sessions are held via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.

How do I know if therapy is right for me (or my teen)?

It’s common to feel uncertain about starting therapy. If you or your teen are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or caught in unhelpful patterns with food, body image, or emotions, therapy can help. Many people come to therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because they want to feel more balanced, confident, and connected in their lives.

What Therapy approaches do you use?

My work integrates evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I also incorporate principles of intuitive eating and Health at Every Size (HAES).
